Long time ago

Haven't been able to post recently... What has happened... watched a play with 5 skits, had my COMPLAB exam... killer... passed my COMPLAB exam... made up for lost points... got a 4.0 midterm for STAT... *eat that ederline* and am currently lazing about life and researching for my FILIPI lecture forrum... Speaking of Love

I just realized how lucky I am having been exposed to all sorts of sexually active people. Heteros, Homos, Bis, etc... I am now oblivious to any sort of explicit sexual content. I watched Brokeback Mountain... That's kidstuff. You want me to make kwento about Queer as Folk? I'm not gay... I'm just used to that shit, as I should be... having gay friends... and the stories... everyone loves to tell me "stories." Nothing much, just rambling....

Good Things

Fionna, Carl, Anjo, and I went to COSCA after Sociology today. The coordinator wasn't there, so we decided to eat instead. We went to KFC for lunch, and I ordered my usual hotshots with rice and gravy. When I was halfway through my meal, a dirty, scrawny boy placed himself beside our table on my side, and begged for the remainder of my hotshots. I inturn was about to refuse when he suddenly stole the rest of my food. I was shocked, as were my companions... It was funny really... anyway, I stood up to order more food, but then I thoigh of buying food for the child and his friends outside KFC. I did... they looked so happy... I got something in return though... twice, even thrice over... thanks God. :)

Valentine Season

Manila! Manila!

New layout... since nobody liked the redtoilet layout. :P Anyway... watched Memoirs of A Geisha Advanced Screening. HOT! I loved it! It was really beautiful. Anyway... how was last week... it was fine, but coming up over the next 2 weeks are exams, and more exams... cool. Watch out for the upcoming Valentine special... and warning na... maypapaharanahin ako ng buong araw... ng "Bulaklak." HAHHA panginis.... I'm weird, always... Kudos.

Prayer

You stood in the rain... Crazy ass

What happens whn you feel? According to the Behavioural Neuroscience Perspective of Psychology, it's just a bunch of chemicals and electrical signals in your brain. Big whoop. Science really does put things in a different light, but personally, I'd rather believe that some things are meant to be kept in the light they are in now. You could say it's a form of cowardice, that instead of believing the truth, that emotion is just a bunch of elctricity and some chemicals, I'd rather believe that there's more to it, something transcendant. I'm afraid of the truth, or maybe there's more to life than truth. Maybe, truth is just a mechanism that encases what is truly important within emotion... screw electricity and chemicals. What's important is that you feel, and what you feel. They can come up with all these high folluting definitions, but in the end, it is you, and your feeling that is important. No definition necessary.

Werewolves

No, I did not watch Underworld Evolution. I'm referring to a different scenario... First, I post about werewolf. Werewolf is our Anjo's and my deskinned dissected pet cat. He's so cute! hahahahah morbid much. I've always loved dissection. I can dissect really fast without any help, and nothing about it bothers me. I'm really used to dissecting things now... Cadavers, here I come! Anyway, what has happened lately... nothing much, as my life is still euphoria prone, and I don't complain about much... that's me of course... Oh and, Prostitution should be legalized. I thought about it yesterday.

On Prostitution

Okay... in Sociology class today, we were talking about Capitalism and how Karl Marx found it "alienating" in these certain aspects: alienation from coworkers (no talking, less breaks etc.) alienating from the product (the people making the product can't even afford the product.) alienating from human potential (you only concentrate on your job, and the singular talent or skill you need to complete it. You don't grow as a person.) Anyway, we were challenged to find, or create, a job that isn't alienating. Carlo found the answer, prostitution. You are not alientated from others, because you have lots of free time which you can spend talking to others, going out, or talking to other members of the Puta org. These interactions also cause competition between prostitutes. How does one beat the competition? You do that by improving the product. So prostitutes in turn improve themselves by excercising, having their faces cleaned, etc. Aside from that, prostitutes know that clients want different types of women and some would rather just talk rather than fornicate, and it is their job, as prostitutes to please their customers. So they read up on acting, they read on different positions, styles of pleasure, etc. They read up on news, sciences, many different things in order to strike conversation. In other words, they improve themselves. They in turn realize potential. Self improvement then destroys alienation from human potential. Alienation from the product is a bit of a problem because most prostitutes don't actually enjoy prostitution. They don't enjoy what they do, so in a way, they are alienated from the product of prostitution: sex. Here comes the saving light... After a lucrative prostitutional practice, you have earned enough money to invest, or open a business. Then you can stop prostituting and start a business. Which makes you a capitalist at the top level, which bridges no alienation. Although... if you do enjoy the sex as a prostitute, then there's no alienation whatsoever then... ergo stick with it. The only reason people wish to leave prostitution, is because society looks down on it. Over time, when the social view is changed, prostitution will be a renowned profession, earning great respect mostly because it takes a lot to be a prostitute.
