Do NOT Support the Sumilao Farmers
SMC's projects in the province may actually be of more benefit to thousands of people in the province, as compared to the 55 farmers who lay claim to the 144 hectares.
If SMC puts up an industrial plant in the 144 hectare land currently under spotlight, they will be able to give jobs to hundreds of people in the community, and will be able to provide a market for the raw goods grown by thousands of local farmers. Wouldn't this be a better alternative than giving the land to 55 families? Imagine, sustained economic development in the region, through a stable market and jobs for thousands.
A thorough study of the case might lead you to this very same conclusion. The Governor of Bukidnon agrees with the industrialization of the Sumilao land.
The 55 Sumilao farmers claim is that Quisumbing, the original owner of the land was given five years to develop the land as an industrial area, and since he was unable to do so, the land should be reintegrated into Agrarian Reform to be distributed to the farmers.
Quisumbing maintained that he could not develop the property, because the Sumilao Farmers' continuous protests hindered him from a proper investment out of fear of the uncertainty of what may happen.
Basic Juris Prudence dictates that if a party is unable to comply with demands of it due to the persistence of another party which may benefit from the failure of the initial party, then the initial party may not be subjected to the original demands placed upon it.
I was graced by a personal interview with the former Assistant Administrator of the now defunct Agricultural Credit Administration, and he shared these views with me. This comes from a man who had dedicated his life to the service of he Filipino farmer. The same views are expressed by Governor Zubiri of Bukidnon. Again as in all my semi critical posts, this is an OPINION. Free Speech right?

To: All Friends Past and Present (I'm Asking a Favor)
Okay... it's nearly my birthday.
I want to know if I've done something for anyone in the past 20 years. I feel unfulfilled, abandoned, ashamed, and a lot of other derogatory adjectives and adverbs that would only serve to fill a ream of paper. So now... sarcasm aside, I want to ask what have I done to YOU as a person. What have I done RIGHT? What have I done WRONG? What MEMORIES fill your head when my name pops out in conversation? What idiosyncrasies do you remember of me? Please answer... and also, please answer properly. I just want to remember what you remember, and maybe it can prove to be a way where-in I can learn from everything you narrate to me. I can learn about what to work on, and how I've evolved over time... Please?
just email me or comment here, or IM me or something... Please... I'll give friendster testimonials and multiply comments to anyone who does... :D

Intra-Personal (A Memoir Homage to Rene O. Villanueva)
Rene O. Villanueva
(September 22, 1954 - December 5, 2007)
I will not act as if I had known him all my life. I will not pretend to be a constant follower of his works, nor will I bother to list the multitude of accomplishments he has gathered through the years. I will present who Rene Villanueva was to me. It is most important you understand that my point of view is rare and unlike any, for when I had gotten to spend time with him, I did not fully know who he was. He was simply introduced to us as "Rene O. Villanueva, children's writer for Adarna Books," and so my initial knowing of him was not of the literary genius that most begin to know him by, but rather of a man who simply wrote for a living. I met Sir Rene when I was 13 years old. I and a friend were invited to join a story writing and storytelling workshop sponsored by the

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
Henri Marie Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec Monfa, a French artist, was born to the family of the Comte Alfonse and Comtess Adelle de Toulouse-Lautrec on November 24, 1864. He was a sickly boy from the very beginning, owing mostly to the fact that since his family is of the French aristocracy; his lineage was tainted by years of incest, and the corresponding genetic disorders commonly derived from it. An example of such incest is the marriage of his parents who are first cousins. Scholars mainly attribute a genetic disorder to cause the events that would eventually change his life forever. The disease Henri was inflicted with is called Pyknodysostosis and was, in more modern times, renamed after him as Toulouse-Lautrec Syndrome. This very uncommon disease of the bone causing rickets, and eventually causing leg bones to cease growing, was discovered in Henri in his pre-teens, when he had fractured both his legs, in two separate accidents. Although his torso continued to grow, his legs retained their length as when they were fractured, never to heal. His full adult height was merely 4’5”. After his mishaps, he was secluded within the walls of his home, mostly painting or drawing on any surface available. When he turned 18 years old, he became the student of a prominent artist in
Individual Psychology can look at Toulouse-Lautrec’s development in many ways, but what is most prominent in his example is his exemplar will to strive for success. Although he was greatly stunted by his body, this never stopped him from wanting to excel in things that he could excel in, and as a direct consequence of his inability to exemplify himself in other aspects of living such as sports, he simply shrugged away the subject in a very cynical, defensive manner, as was attested to by friends and acquaintances. Henri was a very intelligent child to begin with. Documentations of his childhood show him as an aggressive figure who hated to lose. He also established dominance over others to compensate for his weak physiology. He liked to show off his intelligence to all, once talking in perfect English to the family’s vassals, just to show off his knowledge. He also made it a point to be competitive, yet to maintain a friendly relationship with his cousins and siblings. After the incidence of his fractures though, he dwelt more on art and the theatre as his stage for success striving. His art which uses a post modernist style ala Degas is different from other post modernists. His inspiration came mostly from the daily life in
In friendships, he chose the avant garde. He was continuously with cabaret dancers, prostitutes, fellow artists, and stage actors. He respected all equally, and had a strangely strong belief in human equality, which is a kind of reaction formation for being treated so differently by others. His friends maintain though that he was for the most part, a “frank and cynical sardonic.” He was said to have treated everyone equally, but equal in the sense that they were all treated with the same indifferent mocking. They also attest to the fact that he was prone to depression attacks, especially when he sees a person who “lives a life he cannot live.” Henri always considered himself a huntsman manque or human hunter. He loved seeking out people that piqued jis interest. Biographies show that this may be because of his training in hunting when he was younger. Since his body failed to allow him ro hunt foxes and game, he hunted people, in a sense. Another expression of his drive for superiority is the fact that he loved boating. He was resigned to the fact that he could not excel in sports because of his disability, but as boating doesn’t need string legs, but rather, a strong torso, he strove to excel in it. Another example is his love of dressing up, or being in the theatre. His father had the very same hobby, and the believed reason for his inheritance of the hobby is that initially he treated his father as a rival, yet he loved his father. His costumes were always more modern, or more diverse than his father’s.
In summary, Individual Psychology states that the reason for striving for perfection is to overcome difficulties. It also states that success striving is a mechanism of the inferiority complex. How much one strives due to the inferiority complex is dependent on the degree of trained social interest. Adaptation, training, and learning are important for striving for success to ensue. In Henri’s case, we see that it is in some way a textbook case. He only strived in areas wherein he was trained or grew accustomed to, such as in art, theatre, and languages. As his physical state inhibited his mental capacity, and since a trained social interest in sports and hunting was also instilled, Henri made up for his deficiency by finding similar niches that suited his disability. Another very interesting fact is that he never cried. Even when he was in extreme pain, or in his childhood when he broke his legs and they discovered they would never heal or grow, he never shed a tear. He maintained his stance of superiority until the day he died. His last words, given to his own father were, “You old fool.”

To The Girl Who Chose Home
Don't think that I don't mind. If anything, out of all of them who say they sympathize, I'm quite sure that I'm the one who will dwell on this most. It's a thought not best remembered, but things that were never meant for me to ponder, I have. I will treat this as what my mind in psychic form wills itself to manifest; which is as the flood of tears that fall as silent mist upon a sun dry lip, or as the inner echos of a scream, silent yet far reaching, from the hardened chambers of emotional being.
I hold your symbol in my hands.
That is how much has to be spilled for my guilt.
The reproach was mild, and coy was the banter, with life lessons sublimed into the delivery. As important as you are to me, so is the pedestal on which you stand. Maybe deliverance does have it's prize, but the price one drops to fulfill the say is higher than if you had never had the say at all. Did you have to do such? No, maybe out of all the clay dolls that paraded in sweet surrended before my eyes, you were by far the most substantial. You sought to return to the oven from which you came. You were formed not by our fires, but by the fires of yours. Too hot was your skin to have been strong to survive, or maybe too fresh from the pick.
Everything for once is familliar.
Not though in comfort, but in change.
What now that the rage and rainbow fish of ninety's lore have gone through the mind, and out the window? The perspiration fails to bead, and the shaking of my limbs have numbed. This fear is far beyond the fear you face. You return to which my fear negates in existence. You leave behind which in existence my fear negates. The spinning cannot stop, and I am not so naive to try to do so. We are past the point where you talk and I listen. I hand picked you from the garden, o ingrateful grape. No, the grape may choose to roll it's own. I just hoped the grape would be still in my palm, so I may one day savor it's delight.
Goodbye good grape
clay doll
twin pedestal
fear.
I'll miss you.

En grege relicto, humiles ad cunas
Vocati pastores approperant:
Et nos ovanti gradu festinemus.

A Hotdog Bite
So anyway... I'm supposed to be a newly awakened vegan or some such hippie drivel right? At least for just a month. No meat, except for fish, and no oily stuff either. If ever, olive oil's the limit. It's self imposed change that's meant to test my "Office of Willpower" or some such psych nonsense. A bit of history though... I thought of the idea of going vegan when I saw a shrimp cannibalizing a fellow shrimp, in a shrimp tank, in a supermarket. They began fighting, then one shrimp started biting the other, and 30 minutes later, the other shrimp's head was decapitated, and the fleshy insides of the dead shrimp were being feasted upon by the other shrimps. That was disgusting. Then I said "why not go vegan eh?" I then did my nutrition research, and found the next best thing to vegan: Pesci-Vegetarianism, which is basically veggies and fish. Normal vegetarianism involves too many nutritional supplements and proper diet planning for me to actually have time for, so at least by doing the pesci variation, all I need are B complex supplements! I don't expect to lose weight, and I don't really care if I do. It's a psychological challenge, not a physical one. Although my Philo teacher would rebutt that in 2, maybe 3 arguments... anyway... back to the original topic of the post. It's day 4 of my Pesci crap, and my mom woke me up early. I stagger to the breakfast table and grab the hotdog on my plate. I take a bite. I chew and swallow. My eyes widen and I realize I just victimized a helpless pig. I stare at the bitten hotdog for a few seconds. I raise my plate and hand it to my mom, and she says "Oh, I forgot too." I excuse myself, enter my Grandfather's room, and hover on the idea of Bulemia for a second. I decide that vomiting the hotdog peice wouldn't change the fact that I just ate a pig's... something. I'm disgusted at myself, and I want to scream. Then I think to myself, "Mickey, you're such a... DRAMA QUEEN! Bakla ka ba!?!?! iiyakan mo ang tirang tapong laman ng baboy!? Bayot amp*ta." Loosely translated, I told myself to f*ck off the hotdog bite. So there... I broke my vegan-ness already, but if God can forgive ignorance and acts done without cognitive consent, then maybe the lords of veganism can forgive me too. So there. DAY 5, HERE I COME!!! If I can stand the diet 'till Christmas, I'll continue another month, then possible extensions may arise in the future...

Theo is God
I just discovered that if I die now, I'm going straight to hell. What's special about my discovering so is that my grade school religion teachers are as much a part of my descent to hell as Satan. Theology should be taught by Theologians, not math teachers who think they know God.
I'm guessing that Theology classes here are unlike all else... I won't bother comparing.

PSt11 F 1800-2100 SECLEC A Baldemor, Leandro E 10 6
note: This is how all the repressed sexual energy manifests itself. It's sublimation in one of it's best forms. This is a pun btw, just making sure none of you prudes take it seriously.
PSt11 Introduction to Provocation in Still Photography
Maybe it wasn't one of my best Ideas. I needed an elective, and the Communications department had only this class available for electives. It's a photography elective, just as I had hoped to get, but when I discovered that Leandro Baldemor was to teach the class, I started to doubt my choice.
PSt11 F 1800-2100 SECLEC A Baldemor, Leandro E 10 6
The class was from 6 in the evening to 9 at night. How were we supposed to study Photography without sunlight? The Comm. department secretary told me that it was a very practical class, dealing more with actual film work than the theoretical study of it. I then assumed that most of our photography work would be done on our own time, with sir Baldemor to critique and give tips on photography during class time. What degree of skill does Leandro Baldemor have in Photography anyway? The first day of PSt11 class finally arrived. I had been waiting patiently in a nearby coffee house, anxious for my photography class to start. I entered the lecture hall, and saw that there were only 5 of us in the room. It was odd when I thought about it, that our class was given the biggest lecture hall in the university, but according to the class description, it was limited to only 10 students a semester. What an extremely extravagant waste of space. Leandro Baldemor then entered the room. "Good evening class, welcome to PSt11 Introduction to Provocation in Still Photography, or as it is more widely called, Porn Star 101. I am Mr. Leandro Baldemor. You may know me from a number of films I did under Seiko Films. I will be your instructor for this semester. Over the course of 13 weeks we will tackle the hows and whys of posing for porn shots. Each of you students will learn all the skills necessary to be excellent red light thespians. This course is very practical. We will have photo shoots every week, at the last two hours of each class. The first hour will be spent critiquing last week's work via a focused group discussion, and also discussing a light theoretical subject related to the course. At the end of the semester, each student should have compiled 13 works of pornographic art. This is to be your portfolio. This course is a prerequisite to PSt12 Introduction to Provocation in Short Films. Consultation hours are by appointment, and during Saturdays from 10A.M.-12P.M. in the set of GMA's Marimar. Are there any questions?" I was dumbfounded.

To Tito Jaime (JAZdA)
Tito Jaime,
Hi tito. I heard about what happened to your mall the other day. I know it must have come as a shock, and I know you must be hurting right now, but I have to tell you that this is somewhat your fault as well. I know you'r busy all the time, but if you had even bothered to take a look at the situation of your mall, you would have realized that it was only a matter of time until something like that would have happened. Your security personnel don't even check our bags anymore. They take a peek inside, then just let us pass. I could have a hand grenade in the inner recesses of my school bag, and no one would be able to tell. In your defense, you did put up metal detectors, but you forgot to put metal detectors in all entrances. In a way, it was your fault. 8 people died. 8 people who could have somehow changed the world. You allowed terrorism to instill fear in our hearts, and you also allowed grief to take our joy away. Your hand was supposed to guide our country to a better future. This time, you let your country down. You let me down. I do still love you tito Jaime, and I will continue to support your endeavors. Please don't break our hearts again.
Love,
Michael.
P.S.
I went to your new mall, "Trinoma" the other day! I loved it!

How To Fall In Love in 25 Steps (a pseudo-sonnet inspired by Thea)
First, stand at a corridor corner.
Second, pick a random hot guy that's walking your way.
Third, assess properly. He may not be as hot as he seems.
Fourth, if he passes your standards, then get yourself ready.
Fifth, as he is about to cross you, fake a trip.
Sixth, grab his crotch to maintain balance.
Seventh, get up, but do not yet let go of his crotch.
Eighth, Suddenly let go and stare at his face, while screaming profuse apologies.
Ninth, say that you are embarrassed.
Tenth, he will smile at you and say that it's okay.
Eleventh, ask him if he's sure, and apologize again.
Twelfth, introduce yourself.
Thirteenth, he introduces himself.
Fourteenth, say again that you're sorry, then say you'll see him around.
Fifteenth, gather information on him.
Sixteenth, stalk him.
Seventeenth, accidentally pass by him.
Eighteenth, say hi and awkwardly apologize for the crotch incident in a whisper.
Nineteenth, he laughs and says that it really is okay.
Twentieth, start a conversation.
Twenty First, keep bumping into him.
Twenty Second, keep having conversations.
Twenty Third, become friends.
Twenty Fourth, he falls in love with you.
Twenty Fifth, you fall in love too.

Commentary on One Day
One weird day deserves a post.
Last Wednesday was one of those days that you don't really know why they happen. It's not a stressful day, it's not a happy day, but rather, it was one of those days wherein I seemed to have fallen down a rabbit hole, and Wonderland looks exactly like reality. The whole of Wednesday felt like a trip down the Yellow Brick Road.
I felt like Gilgamesh, seeking the gods' realm.
It was my Experimental Psychology Lecture final exam, and I had arrived at the venue 5 minutes late. The testing room was at the third floor of Faura Hall. Although the building is the oldest and most decrepit of all the University's Halls, it housed the most modern and technologically savvy departments, namely the Information Systems and Computer Science Department, and the Department of Physics. The room which was the site of my final exam, had windows on three out of the four walls. I, being late, took the only available seat, adjacent to the largest window in the room. As I was taking the test, I could hear the birds chirping, perched on a swaying tree branch a good 5 inches from my face. I then noticed that a bird was staring at me, as if saying "What a curious creature." I then stared back, and for the first time in my life, I had locked eyes with a bird. The test was rather easy, and the perspiration beading on my forehead was stunted by the cool October breeze. I finished my test, and then got up to submit my paper. I glanced upon my classmates who were still busy scribbling frantically. None of them had yet finished the exam. Some of them looked up and stared at me with quizzical expressions on their faces, and I replied with a quizzical expression on mine. As I exited Faura Hall, I though that maybe my questionnaire had missing pages or some other sort of technical misdeed, but the proctor did check my answer sheet before signalling me permission to leave.
Ten minutes had passed since I exited Faura Hall, and I was now staring at the overpass I was to cross to get to my post final relaxation hub. The hub is on the other side of Katipunan Avenue, directly opposite gate 2.5 of the University. Most people call the hub "National Bookstore." I call it "Home." I bought a graphic novel with what little was left of my weekly allowance. The novel was one that not most people know about, and one that even those who know about it won't bother buying it. I had bought chapter 14 of Tsubasa Chronicles, also known as Chronicle of the Wings. I was browsing through the novel's pages, when suddenly a generic Katipunan child-beggar pulled at the scruff of my shirt. "Penge barya," he said. He was asking for alms. He continued the monotonous chanting of "Penge barya" for a few seconds until I replied that I had run out of coins to give, which was true. He then looked at the cover of what I had been reading. A smile then formed on his face. "Alam ko yan!" He said he knew what I was reading. "Napapanood ko yan sa bahay! Nasa Animax yan e!" He narrated to me how he loved watching the serialized version of the comic book on TV. This struck me as odd. It was uncanny how a child, who persistently begs for alms, is able to watch a TV show shown only on a cable channel which is only available to a cable network which charges 500 Pesos or more a month for service per television set. He has to beg for food, but he is able to watch cable TV in his own home. I stared at him, dumbfounded for a few more moments, before finally shrugging off, and proceeding to make my way home.
I had disembarked from the train I had ridden to get home, and I was waiting then along the infamous Rizal Avenue. Hordes of Jeepneys were racing madly on the road, and the surreal blur of a thousand colors, and odd sounding horns was giving me a migraine. The stoplight then turned red, and suddenly, all was at peace. While the Jeepneys were frozen by the red light, I decided to start looking for a Jeepney that would take me home. I looked at their front windows, where their destinations are posted, and I found one which would pass by my neighborhood. I then proceeded to ask the driver where the Jeep was headed, just to make sure. "Saan ho papunta?" "Quiapo City Hall," was his reply. I had no chance to board the Jeepney since the light had turned green. I now have such contempt for that color. I pondered on the Jeepney driver's reply, "Quiapo City Hall." Quiapo, which is another of Manila's infamous areas was on the other side of the city, and Manila's City Hall was in yet another corner of the city. He had either said that his Jeepney would travel from one end of the city to another, or that Quiapo is now it's own city, with it's own city hall. Either way, the signs on his front window were lying. The Jeepney would not have taken me home. I stood there, where the Jeepney had left me, thinking of how odd the day had proceeded. I decided then to eat my lunch before proceeding home.
As I ate my Siopao in 7-11, I remembered the incident in the 1970's where the Chinese restaurant Mamon Luk was supposedly using white cats in it's Siopao. They had supposedly found a sack of cat heads in their trash. I took a bite of my Siopao and imagined how they would have ground the cats, and how they had skinned the cats. If I were the person in charge of skinning the cats, I would be furious. Skinning cats is not easy.
I was finally able to take a Jeepney home. It was a long tiring ride, due mostly to the fact that although Jeepneys travel 40 Kph at most, it feels like you're travelling 100 Kph. Jeepneys always give me the feeling of wanting to vomit. We had come to stop at a red light near the National Museum. A shirtless 10 year old then boarded the Jeep, with two dirty towels in hand. He scanned everyone inside the Jeep, and then knelt on the Jeep's floor and started scrubbing at everyone's shoes. Most people didn't mind the kid, who just proceeded to scrub away, indifferent to the looks he was receiving from the Jeep's passenger population. He stopped when he got to my feet. I was wearing slippers, and had just gotten a foot soak. He took a second to reflect on what he was to do in times of slipper wear. I half expected him to take out a "Shoe Cleaner's Handbook." He then shrugged his shoulders and began to scrub my foot. He even took extra care in scrubbing my toe nails. I stared, mortified at the fact that a shirtless 10 year old was scrubbing my clean foot with a rag that was used to clean hundreds of filthy shoes. Did he even wash the rag after each scrubbing day? Did he store the rag in a hygienic place? Did he use it to wipe his ass? I pulled my foot back, and he put his rags in his back pocket. He sat down on the empty space beside me and put his hand out in front of me, as if demanding payment for his blatant mutilation of my foot. I stared back with eyebrows raised. He quickly then leaped up and jumped off the Jeep. Post-facto, I stared at my once clean foot which had now been buffed with the microbes of a hundred soles. I expected my foot to turn violet and fall from gangrene at any given moment. Thankfully, it stayed on.
I got to my neighborhood safely, and I glanced at my foot one last time before getting off the Jeep. "I had a weird day," I said to myself. "Everyone has to hear of it."
P.S. I got an 87 in my exam.

The Semesteral Post of Gratitude
The Academe:
Mr. David Puen: Thank you for allowing me a chance to relive my only sporting passion...even if for only a brief period in time. I learned most importantly under your arm that not all passions are to be actively lived out, and that my passion would only add to the mediocrity that need not be fostered.
Mr. Renan Prado: I was afraid of you. I could not even approach you. I respected you the most. Thank you for your passion. You may love the language you teach, but with you, I learned that what makes a good teacher isn't that they are passionate about what they teach; but rather, they are passionate about who they teach. It isn't just about the course content. It's more importantly about people.
Mrs. Gilda Lopez: Your patience above all else should be commended. Thank you for all the chances. You understand the need of time.
Mr. Andrew Soh: You revealed to me the errors of my past as a thinker. Thank you for all the discoveries I had encountered in your class. With you I learned the most I had ever in a 3 unit class. Most importantly I learned from you that my being is not mine alone. It belongs to no one, and thusly be used for everyone's benefit.
Dr. Manuel Cuenca: "What I hoped you've learned over the past sem is the skills needed to survive in the real world. Harkwork, and taking responsibility are all I hope you will remember from taking this class." Thank You.
Mr. Weevens Ty: Scrutiny and a sense of Obsessive-Compulsion in our research is the most useful trait I have learned from you. From you I have learned all I have to know to survive the life of paperwork that lies ahead of me. You gave me a flashlight, in a cave with no light.
The Ateneans:
Drew, Mark, and the Tennis people: I would like to thank you all as well, because you indulged my competitiveness. You guys made a semester of Tennis worthwhile.
The Senior AB EU students in Spanish Class: Thank you for guiding me step by step through every lesson I didn't understand. You guys will make perfect diplomats someday.
Lis, Dee, Daph, Kurt, Dan, Erica, Crissy, and Luigi: I was a stat prat, and I know it. You guys kept me sane and functioning all through my 4th stat class. Thanks to those who opened up, and shared my paranoia, and also, thanks for being such a cool seatmate Lis. Thanks everyone also for supporting me even through my hazy times... I learned a bit about responsibility because of you all, and I also learned that chances are important.
Ael, Aries, and my other Ph101 neighbors: Aries, thanks for indulging my insanity. Thanks also to my neighbors for the mini discussions, and for answering my clarificatory questions. Discussions are best done with multiple persons.
Xans, Xan's boys, and the 60 other Physiopsych people: Thanks for sharing my grief :p We'll get through this. We worked our best. We learned that not all can be geniuses.
Tet, Patrick, DJ, and all the other Expep classmates: We weren't all that close because as a class we were required to separate into multiple independent groups (nyer...) but I could tell you guys had fun :) Sorry to Tet and Patrick for my lateness in most cases. I learned from you guys that Psychology is more than just theories and therapy. Psychology is life.

Looking Forward to What May Come
I hope things turn out for the better next semester, since this sem was a bit chaotic... I'm finding my way through grope by grope, and I hope there will be enough light to actually see where I'm going next time. I have a lot of people to be thankful for, and some I need to apologize to (no not you).
I'm looking forward to my ACED involvements, since I know we can reform public education... all we need is patience and perseverance. With Gloria's appointment of Fr. Nebres as Chairman of the Presidential Coordinating Task Force on Education, and ACED being his organizational arm, we were ensured a fulfilling year ahead of us. There are so many projects to join... which to start with?
I'm looking forward to my academic subjects as well... Philo will always be THE intellectually orgasmic subject of the sem. Developmental Psychology and Personality promise to make my sem interesting, and my Psychological Testing class will probably kill me. I'm starting my Theology classes as well... That means perpetual debating at the dinner table with abuelo...
It's days like these when I realize we can change the world.
It's the day after today that I begin to work for tomorrow.

A Retraction of the Past Two Years
I had once said that if there was one thing I would never fail to give thanks for in my La Sallian experience, it would be the people of La Salle, whether they directly affected me, or not.
I retract that.
Your inanities deserve no respect. To whoever made those t-shirts that directly insulted players from other teams, I suggest you repeat your Orient1 and RELS subjects. To those who blatantly insulted certain bloggers for posting a rants which were explicitly labelled as either hate posts, with their sub-occuring apology clauses, or non-directional posts, I suggest you review your ENGLTWO. To those who cheered when their players commited blatant physical attacks on other players, your sadism will be your defeat. Gloat all you want about absolutely anything that you can hold on to. Hold on to your THES-QS, your professors won it for you, so don't dare claim it as your victory. Hold on to your sports victories, for you may win the trophy this year, but you've just lost your school the respect of millions. You've just lost your school my respect. Keep your Animo, I have enough of Religio, Mores and Cultura to keep my La Sallian within living.
You have my disgust.
I then wonder how you can still muster the audacity to say "Live, Jesus in our hearts forever." Your patron died in the spirit of service through education, by uplifting the human spirit. Your actions directly attack the human person.
I am more a La Sallian than you will ever be.
I now choose what to respect in my La Sallian experience. My general respect is long gone.
What's a sub-occuring apology clause? This:
Rant Post... Not meant to offend anyone in any way, just a reminder of how inane people can be when adrenalin overdosed. Blatant personal insults are the epitomy of lowness. It just pains me to see anyone sink so low.

IGOROT SPEAKS ENGLISH!!!! HWAW!!!!
I recently just discovered that the northern provinces have a higher english proficiency rate than Metro Manila... Well I was surprised that when I was englesh espokening with my mohder en da La Trinidad (Benguet) Publeek Mahrket, the Strawberry lady replied in perfect english... So, that's one more reason for me to love the North even more :) GO ENGLISH SPEAKING IGOROT!!!
PS... what this says is true... since our English Proficiency rate is high, and we have a HUGE population... there ARE more english speakers here than in Britain.
